ROOT install problems on MacOSX 10.8

Hi Everyone!

I just got a new laptop running MacOSX 10.8.2. I have downloaded XQuartz (The newest version 2.7.4). I have changed the gcc version on my machine to 4.7 via Macports:

Thus when I got ROOT from Macports I did:

After this I’m able to type ‘root’ and have it work. However right at the top (above the ROOT header) I see this:

If I try and open a browser I get a lot of errors like this:
Warning in TGClient::GetColorByName: couldn’t retrieve color #3399ff.
Please close any other application, like netscape, that might exhaust
the colormap and start ROOT again
Warning in TGClient::GetColorByName: couldn’t retrieve color #3399ff.
Please close any other application, like netscape, that might exhaust
the colormap and start ROOT again
(class TBrowser*)0x7fa764320d40
root [1] Error in : fatal X11 error (connection to server lost?!)

**** Save data and exit application ****

Warning in TGClient::GetColorByName: couldn’t retrieve color #000000.
Please close any other application, like netscape, that might exhaust
the colormap and start ROOT again
Any ideas? Could there be something screwed up with the display of some sorts?

Thanks!
