I was thinking of writing a class to be used extensively in the analysis work I do with root. Before I start writing the code, I wanted to pay attention to the coding standards I would adopt for this work. I pulled up a document from CERN titled “C++ Coding Standard” and has an ID of “CERN-UCO/1999/207” dated Jan 5th, 2000. Does root follow this standard? Has the root development team published their own coding standards?
(who knows… there’s probably a link right under my nose on the root web site titled “root coding standards”…)
