My first post here.
I have a Microsoft Access database with data that I need to get into ROOT. I have defined a data source, but ROOT always returns an error (cannot connect to the datasource).
I think the problem is to do with the fact I am running on WinXP 64. There are two data source locations (64 bit and 32 bit). I have tried all I can think of to access the DB, but no luck at all. I’ve tried .dsn files, and also referencing the db directly in the calls to either “ODBC://”, "“odbcd://” and "“odbcn://”.
Has anyone done this before and had some success?
For info, the code works perfectly on a 32bit platform.
