Hello, are there plans to release a homebrew formula for MacOS for ROOT 6.34.02? I see that the available options are a stable release of 6.32.08, or the ROOT repository HEAD (version 6.35.x).
In the meantime, what is the recommended way to install ROOT 6.34 on MacOS? From source, or from the binaries?

We are extremely grateful to the Homebrew Project for the precious work they do packaging ROOT. However, we are not responsible for those packages. Port seem to provide already ROOT 6.34.02 (https://ports.macports.org/port/root6/) - again we are very grateful for their contribution, but we are not responsible for that package.
About building from source or using the binaries, both options are viable. As a matter of fact, we also recently updated the instructions to build from sources on macOS: Dependencies - ROOT

Hi, thank you for the information! I was able to use MacPorts to install ROOT 6.34.02, as you suggested. For anyone else trying to do this: I did have to uninstall my previous Homebrew installation of ROOT for it to link properly.
