Rebin TH1 in a smaller range

Hi,
I would like to ask about the TH1::Rebin, when I use the option of customized binning, and I provide an array, if the array has a smaller range than the initial axis range of the histo, the data from the bins that are not present in the rebinned is just not used ?

Could you post some example code showing what you’d like to see? I’m not sure I understand your request correctly.
