pyROOT in ROOT version 6

Hi all,

I have trouble importing ROOT with v6-04-00, and I remember that I had similar problems with
ROOT version 5. Back then the “fix” to this problem was v5-34-00-patches.

So my question is which versions of ROOT v6 support pyROOT (OS X EL Capitan).

This is supposed to work. Where did you get your ROOT from? Which python are we talking about?

Hi Axel,

I git cloned the ROOT repo and checked-out that branch.
I have since installed v6-07-03 which works without problems.

Just for information, do all v6 branches work with pyROOT?

Indeed, all branched are supposed to have a nicely building and working PyROOT :slight_smile:
