Dear Neng:

After reading your slide, I have one questions: On slide 20 I see ‘Disk I/O only reaches ~25MB/sec even when we were using RAID’, while on slide 7 I see ‘The maximum disk I/O can reach ~55MB/sec with RAID 5’. So the disk I/O drops more than 50%.Is this because the ATLAS format files(50MB/file) are much smaller than the Benchmark files (900MB/file)? or ATLAS file structure is more complicated to read?
