Problem with Cygwin and ROOT v.5.16

Hi all,
I have a problem with ROOT installation with Cygwin.
I downloaded the file root_v5.16.00.source.tar.gz
and when I open Cygwin and I write “root” I obtain the message:

bash: root: command not found

I have followed the instructions that are on Axel Naumann’s web site and I don’t know where is my error.

Did you set the PATH env variable to include $ROOTSYS/bin ?

Hi,
I risolved the problem installing the binary distribution and followed the instructions that are on Axel Naumann’s web site and it’s all ok.
