Dear expert, I would like to install ROOT on my Windows 7 laptop.
Unfortunately I do not have (and I cannot have!!!) the Administrator password - this is due to the very strict IT regulations of my Company
I was wondering if there is a workaround to install ROOT. Is there any “portable version”, for instance?
Can somebody of you help me?

Hi,
No need for the Administrator password. You can simply download the tar.gz file. See for example the instructions for Windows at this location
