Plots in terminal as was done in PAW

Hi,

I was wondering if ROOT can plot in the terminal without X11. In PAW, one can choose the “Workstation type” to be an “alphanumeric terminal”, and the histograms would show up as text in the terminal. Even if it is a bare bones feature as I have drawn some distribution below, it would be so nice.

This feature was implemented in hbook 32 years ago at a time when most people did not have access to a graphics device.
We have no plans to implement it in ROOT.
