Parameters in convolution example

Hi everyone,

I was looking at this example of a convolution between an exponential function and a gaussian one, but I thought that the exponential had 2 free parameters and the gaussian had 3, so it should be 5 in total. But in this example, the result of the fit does only give 4 paramters. Can anyone tell me why, please?

Thanks in advance!
L.

In general, for the TF1Convolution, if the “function2” (or “formula2”) contains a parameter named “Constant”, this special parameter will be fixed at 1.0 and it will be erased from the convolution’s set of parameters.

Fine, thanks!!
