Number of entries in TH1D

Hi,

I have generated a ntuple. From this ntuple, when I draw a variable “px” by using ntupleName.Draw(“px”) (or from browser), the stat on the histogram shows the number of entries or value of integration 1.18 x 10^7. The editor shows 12 number of bins. When I increase the number of bins from the editor, the number of entries or value of integration changes to 8.67 x 10^5. Why?

What do you mean? did you create the original histogram with 12 bins only?
