Hi all,
I need a quick way to find the number of counts in a peak. Can anyone advise me? I am not concerned about subtracting a background.
Thanks in advance,
Chloe.

How about different http://root.cern.ch/root/html/TH1.html#TH1:Integral and/or http://root.cern.ch/root/html/TH1.html#TH1:IntegralAndError
You can find bins corresponding the your “x-peak-left” and “x-peak-right” using http://root.cern.ch/root/html/TH1.html#TH1:FindBin
