Non-HEP usage of ROOT

Hello,

I am preparing a talk for my chemist colleagues, and I am looking for examples on ROOT being used for non-HEP work.

Do yo have any reference, any website about this ?

Thanks in advance

Nicolas

The low energy muon project at PSI use root, and their equipment is mostly used for condensed matter physics, although there are some similarities with a particle physics experiment.

I wrote some Root scripts for a group of nutrition scientists once. They used them for fitting time dependencies in coupled chemical reactions.

Some details can be found in this thesis: http://hss.ulb.uni-bonn.de/diss_online/math_nat_fak/2004/lichtenthaeler_ramona/0472.pdf
