No variable table?

Hi,

Recently, I reinstalled root. Everything seems fine except when I type in “.l”, it pops out no variable table.
However, I still can plot histograms, which means there indeed exists variables. Did I do anything wrong? Pls help me with that.

What were you using the .l for? [We did not intentional break it but we also do not test it per se]
