Hello root team,
I’ve installed root via the MSI package for windows and played around with it yesterday. I had the GUI available and run some of the tutorials. But then it crashed…
When I now run root only the CINT window and credits appear (and credits disappear), the gui is gone. I can’t remember that i did anything special yesterday to get it to appear yesterday. When I start Root the GUI should automaticly pops up, right?

Sorry, but what GUI are you talking about? ROOT is a command line application from where you can start execute a GUI macro, or launch a Root browser (by typing "new TBrowser), but there is no GUI at start-up time…

I was apperently talking about the browser. No idea how I started that yesterday, but that was what I was looking for.

Well, maybe you double-clicked on a ROOT file, this should automatically start a ROOT browser…
