Dear Rooters,
Is there anything like named counters in ROOT?
I mean something like
TVector which prints out the following:
| 1 |
1 |0 name 1
2 |0 name 2
3 |0 name3
where names are set by user.

Unfortunately, i need to use this facility in batch system,
where graphics is not available.
Hi Kirill,
you can save graphics in batch mode in
PostScript, PDG, SVG formats.
Check also recent discussion on “gifbatch” at

You do not need to produce any graphics. What I told you can be used in batch mode. You can look at the bin contents of the histogram.
