Hi there,
I need to use a tool to do maximum likelihood minimization with three parameters, the values also have systematic uncertainties. Currently, I’m using this code to minimize, but I don’t know how to apply uncertainties. I want to know if there is a way to apply systematic Uncertainties using this code, otherwise if you know other method to implement please let me know.
The code you have posted is good for minimising a function such a maximum likelihood function. Then adding systematic uncertainties is something different, which one needs to define depending on the problem. For example you can include extra parameter in your likelihood function describing systematic uncertainties and you can add some extra term (e.g. gaussian constraint tears) in the likelihood function describing these uncertainties. All this depends on how you model your problem,
