Is anybody already made a comparison between MatLab and Root?
I would like to have an idea of the advantages of one over the other:
What MatLab brings over Root and reciprocally.
In which senses they complement each other.
Thanks in advance,
Pascal

Pascal,
A long time ago, I answered a similar question comparing ROOT with
another system. Using Google, I was surprised to see my answer at:
[pw1.netcom.com/~kmself/SAS/ROOT_mail.txt](http://pw1.netcom.com/~kmself/SAS/ROOT_mail.txt)
My answer is still largely valid. Meanwhile, ROOT has evolved in many areas (Data base, Gui, Graphics, Image processing, etc…).
I suggest to have a look at our documentation at:
root.cern.ch/root/RootDoc.html

Hi,
It seem that the article at
pw1.netcom.com/~kmself/SAS/ROOT_mail.txt
is not there anymore.
