Make target `gl/inc/TGLAxisPainter.h'

I’m using cgywin.

I decided to do a “cvs -z3 update -d -P” and re-build my root, and ran into the following error. Any ideas?

make: *** No rule to make target gl/inc/TGLAxisPainter.h', needed bygl/src/G__GL.o’. Stop.
rm utils/src/RStl_tmp.cxx utils/src/rootcint_tmp.cxx

Dorm include/TG*; rm gl/src/*.[od]or more simply gmake distclean

alas, “gmake clean” followed by “gmake” gives the same error. Perhaps “clean” doesn’t really clean enough? I’ll try your suggested removes.

try gmake distclean

the rm’s worked.

so make clean doesn’t use strong enough cleaner I suppose.

I didn’t try make distclean, as the rm seemed to do the trick.
