Low disk space on filesystem.root

Hello, Dear root users!
I installed Root and Geant4 in Ubuntu but each type when i turned on my laptop following screen appeared. I tried to delete some files in filesystem.root but unable to delete them. Kindly suggest me appropriate solution of it.

the root as in Filesystem root has nothing to do with data-analysis-framework ROOT. Concerning your question, see this.

letmegooglethat.com is not the friendliest of the search engines, but indeed the problem seems to be that the root of your file system (i.e. the device where the / directory is mounted) is running low on space ā€“ nothing to do with ROOT Iā€™m afraid.

Hi,
the usual methods: you can delete some files (you can check which files occupy space e.g. with the ncdu command), or get a bigger hard disk :slight_smile:
