Platform: ubuntu 18.10

Dear professor,
I’m trying to use precompiled ROOT me this error "Fatal in : unable to load the libtinfo.so.5 library: unable to open the shared object file: no such file or directory
what can I do?
I am using precompiled ROOT and my system is Ubuntu 8.10

AFAIK, this is a system library, and not distributed with ROOT. Maybe a Linux expert can tell which package is missing on your system?
