Is 6.26/08 the latest stable release? In this link Releases - ROOT the latest one is 6.26/06.

sorry for the high latency and thank you for your question! v6.26.08 has been tagged but it has not been announced because of internal delays. In the meanwhile more fixes have been added to v6.26, so probably the next stable release that will be properly announced will be 6.26.10 (coming out soon). v6.26.08 is usable, but if you are building from source using the v6-26-00-patches branch will include more bug fixes. @Axel can correct me if I’m wrong.

Hi, I am also confused. I saw that ROOT 6.28 was released in February, however the “latest” tag is still at 6.26
Does this mean that 6.28 is still in an experimental state and should be avoided?
If thats the case, I would suggest to write LATEST STABLE instead of LATEST in the html label.
