Jupyter Root Prompt cannot run c++ code

I want to run c++ code in Jupter notebook.
I have chosen the ROOT Prompt kernel, but even the comments like “//” cannnot be recognized.
Does some know a solution?

Hi,

Are you launching your Jupyter server with root --notebook?
Does the ROOT C++ kernel die when you open the notebook? Is there any error in the terminal?
