JavaRoot update

Hi,
I am not sure it is a good idea to use Root TFile and TTree in Java. Anyway, I did some unsuccessful SWIG trials and then found this project by Google. sarkar.web.cern.ch/sarkar/jroot/main.html

The problem is that this project seems abandoned since 2004. I am wondering whether it is possible to upgrade it to the recent ROOT version. Many thanks for your helps.

Hi,

We currently do not directly support accessing ROOT file from Java (you may to check out SLAC’s JAZZ product which is capable of reading ROOT files from java). To access ROOT files from a web browser we have recently started to develop a javascript library.
