I have a macbook with leopard and i downloaded ROOT package from the site, but i don’t know how to install root, the instructions are not very user friendly. Does anyone have instructions in lamens with regards to ROOT installation? thank you for any assistance.

root.cern.ch/drupal/content/inst … oot-source
Synopsis:
cd root
./configure
make
