Installing ROOT / CINT on Scientific Linux CERN 4 (SLC4)

Hi,
Now, I am installing ROOT on a Scientific Linux CERN 4 (SLC4) machine.
But, everytime, after “make”, I got err message,

In file included from rfio/src/TCastorFile.cxx:48:
/usr/include/shift/Cns_api.h:27:24: Cns_struct.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [rfio/src/TCastorFile.o] Error 1

I google Cns_struct.h, and I find nothing.
pls give some helps, thank you very much.

Hello Chen,

You have to install newer version of Castor. On SLC4, there was a distribution where this include file was missing.

Hi Bertrand,
Thanks for your help.
I make install Castor (2.1.0-0) download from:
savannah.cern.ch/files/index.php?group=castor
but it still doesn’t work.
any other suggestions or introductions?
