Installing ROOT 5.14 under CYGWIN

Hi Axel and other Cygwin-specialists,
I am trying to update my ROOT version on my windows machine running CYGWIN. I have a working version of ROOT 4.04.

I downloaded the Windows/Cywin binaries for ROOT 5.14/00.
When I run root from the prompt I get the following Windows error:
“The procedure entry point _isnand could not be located in the DLL cygwin1.dll”

Any suggestions on how to debug are appreciated?

you might have to update cygwin.
