Installing oracle ROOT libraries

Dear ROOT experts

I am trying to install oracle ROOT libraries (libOracle.so) using ubuntu.
I already have installed the oracle client 11g and I specify the path during ./configure
but at the end it just crashes.

Have any of you managed to do that, or point me to one place where I can find the compiled libraries and orable client (I dont think they are installed by default in lxplus).

What do you mean by “it just crashes”? Could you give some more detailed information?
