I have attempted to install ROOT from source (version 30.06, as shown in Image 1). Afterward, I tried downloading the pre-installed package, but the error still occurred (as shown in Image 2). What should I do?
I have also tried versions 30.04 and 30.08 before this.

Have you had a look to the required dependencies (Dependencies - ROOT) and installed the necessary packages on your system?
In your case the compiler seems to be missing.

-_- I have installed ROOT many times before, but now I am facing a frustrating issue. It seems that libvdt-dev is not supported on Ubuntu 22.04, and I overlooked this because I assumed the other packages had already been installed.
