Inspect/read a Tree remotely

I’m working on lxplus remotely on my MacBook Air and would like to inspect a Tree stored on a filesystem (afs or eos) at CERN accessible on lxplus. The command TBrowser b is extremely slow. Is there a ROOT line command to inspect the content of the Tree which doesn’t use graphics just print the Tree and therefore gives a rapid inspection of its content? Thanks.

You can efficiently use TBrowser on remote node if you invoke rootssh to login on this node.
Then all GUI elements will run in your local web browser when ROOT application with access to TTree executed on remote node. Read how it can be used here:
