I tried installing root from the above tutorial for my windows 10. While checking it in command prompt, i am getting the following message, “Root is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file”. Kindly tell me what to do.

if you installed root in C:\root, you have to type C:\root\bin\thisroot.bat from the command prompt, then you can start root from anywhere. Note that this is valid for the current command prompt session only
