How to track the progress of a running macro

when a macro is running, is it possible to print out the source to track where the running process is at in real time? I somehow had the impression that “.T” command would do the work in early version of root but it’s won’t work now.

Thanks

Hi,

Indeed, we had to remove .T in ROOT 6, when moving from CINT to cling. We will be adding gdb support next year for interpreted code. Until then you’ll likely have to resort to printf() debugging…

Cheers, Axel
