How to read files in promc format

Greetings,

I am one of ATLAS researchers and want to reproduce something by MC dataset in promc format. However, I got troubled with installation of ProMC ( asc:promc:installation [ATLAS Support Center] (anl.gov)). It showed ‘No such file or directory’ when I try to set up at CERN’s lxplus. Does any one have experience on reading dataset in promc format? Thank you so much!

thanks for reaching out!
I am not aware of the current status of the installation of ProMC on lxplus. The path does not exists indeed, that’s why you get the error. The information on the website you linked may be outdated.
