How to merge RooUnfold objects?

Hi,
I’m trying to merge root files which contain RooUnfold objects, namely ‘sub-directories’ with
TH2 histograms (true, reco, response). I get no errors when using hadd method (e.g., ‘hadd merge.root
file1.root file2.root’), but the merge.root file contains only the content of the file1.root.

Hi,

I think the problem is that RooUnfold does not implement the functionality to merge. However,
RooUnfold is not part of ROOT. I would suggest you to contact directly the RooUnfold author from
hepunx.rl.ac.uk/~adye/software/u … nfold.html
