How to make root run with full computer power

Dear Rooters,

I have a Monte Carlo Program, when I try to run it, it takes a lot of time, while my computer uses only 30% of its power.

Is there any way to use 100% power, so the program will run faster?

Thank you very much,

Is that 30% of one core? Where do you get the number from?

Today’s computers have multiple cores. You can simply run multiple programs (with different random seeds!) and generate more Monte Carlo samples in parallel, and then use a TChain to combine them afterwards.
