I am new to Mac environment. I want to install latest possible root version. I am using mac 10.11. I am confused with dependencies. please tell what to do?

You can try downloading the binary version from here: https://root.cern.ch/content/release-61102
That is a preview of the next release. I don’t recommend the current master branch from git, as there have been issues compiling for macOS recently. Please just make sure that you have the right version of XCode (the full thing, version 8.x for macOS 10.11) installed, or ROOT will not work properly.
