How to install root 6.14 in centos 6.7

_Compiler: gcc 7.2

Hi,

we do not provide binaries for that platform but for CC7 (https://root.cern.ch/content/release-61402).
I think you’ll need to build ROOT for your platform.

Is this a system that has CVMFS? If so, you can use the dev4 LCG release (http://lcginfo.cern.ch/release/dev4/).

source /cvmfs/sft.cern.ch/lcg/views/dev4/latest/x86_64-slc6-gcc7-opt/setup.sh.

I don’t know if CentOS vs SLC will cause issues though.
