Garfield++ is it possible to add other material?

I need some help with adding other material such as HPGe etc.
As I know, user can modify transport parameters even though we just use material from Magboltz program or MediumSilicon object. I’m wondering whether I can use Garfield++ for HPGe detector simulation or not.

Hi,
yes, it’s possible, we would just need to add a class MediumGermanium that provides the drift velocity, impact ionisation coefficient, etc. as function of electric field.
As an example/template, you could use for instance MediumDiamond or MediumGaAs.
If you have a model (or models) of the mobility and other transport properties, I’m also happy to give a hand implementing them in a class.
