F->cd() doesn't work to go in the main directory!

I have a problem with the directory in root…I created a folder and all the time I go inside the folder I can not go out with the command f->cd()…It told me that the f is not define in current scope but it is not true, because I call my file with TFile *f=…

What is the problem?I don’t understand…
