Error with display

I’m trying to run root on my computer, and I receive this error message, “can’t figure out DISPLAY, set it manually”. What can I do to fix this?

I think you should install XQuartz.
Alternatively, you can try to search this forum (or even Google) for the error message you have, I’m sure you will find a solution (it is one of the reason why the Forum is useful…)
