Hello,

i run Root 4.00/08 on a debian linux Pc. Ploting histograms works so I guess root works in general but if I try to use the menu of the Canvaswindow or open TBrowser I get a crash and the following output. Maybe someone can help?

root [1] Error in : BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) (XID: 39845942, XREQ: 33)

Hi edawg,
you need to use 4.00.08f and higher.
