Hi and welcome to the ROOT forum.
We will need a bit more information in order to be able to help, e.g. what platform/operating system are you on, can you avoid building ROOT from source and install it as a package instead (see Installing ROOT - ROOT) and if not what were the exact commands you used to start the build?
