Double peak fitting in spectrum

Suppose I have a spectrum where I have double peak means two peaks very close together. How do I fit such peaks?

Since the two peaks are close together, the response function of your detector is most likely the same at both positions. Therefore, your parametrization of your peaks should only have different amplitudes. A Gaussian response function would for instance have the same width at both positions.
