Converting from MIDAS to ROOT

Could you explain what you mean by “converting” ?
ROOT is not an alternative to MIDAS, but ROOT may be used inside MIDAS and there are several groups (eg at TRIUMF) using MIDAS with ROOT.

Wel, one of my colleagues has a set of data measured using MIDAS and now the data should be evaluated with ROOT. I am very beginner with ROOT and even did never work with MIDAS, so any hint is welcome.
What kind of info :bulb: shall I collect at least to ask reasonably?
