I have problems with compiling the latest version root. It just comiles the same files again and again for hours. I think I have problem with the system time. But Idont know how to fix system time problem.

if you don’t know how to set the date, “man date” seems mandatory. Err, sorry. Still, it’s going to give you the answer, for linux. And you might check the timezone for your system. It depends on your distro how to set it, but google will know. If you don’t use linux, ask google, too, e.g. “how to set the system time for BeOS”.
Make sure your system time and that of the machine housing the disks you access is (approximately) the same. See root.cern.ch/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2595 for an explanation.
