Cannot create gif file in batch

Hi I’m trying to use TCanvas::Print to produce a gif file in a root batch job (for inclusion in a web page after). I keep getting the error “Cannot create gif file in batch.” I get the same for jpg and png. Why is this ? Is there a way around it ?

Hi elc,
this possibility is available starting from the version 4.04.
I recommend to use the latest version of ROOT because
few critical bugs were fixed recently.
