C:\CINT\doc\extlib.txt

That sounds good,
but what should be done if I’m having .dll (.so) already and, of cause I’m having .h file.
How the “wrapper dll” to be compiled in this case?
I tried thus: makecint -mk makefile -dl aapi.dl -H aapi.h -l arinaapi.dll --D WIN32 -p
but it works not, obvisilly, for link knows nothing about .dll files, and that is naturally.

Any suggestion?

Thank you.

Hi,

If you are using CINT directly, the option you should use is:

makecint -mk makefile -dl aapi.dl -H aapi.h -l arinaapi.dll --D WIN32 -p

$ makecint -mk makefile -dl aapi.dll -p -H arinaapi.h -l arinaapi.lib --D WIN32 -p $ make -f makefile

If you are using ROOT, you can also just do:

$ root root [] .L arinaapi.dll root [] .L aapi.h+

Cheers,
Philippe

I do appriciate that.
It works.

SOrry for the delay in reply :blush:
