Hello,

I was interested to know whether there were plans for the Bayesian Analysis Toolkit (BAT) to be incorporated into future versions of ROOT. (see url)

Hi,

We will probably not integrate BAT inside ROOT, but we are planning to facilitate the usage of BAT (and any other external packages) from ROOT, for example by building ROOT with the BAT support.
We are also plan to improve the current interface of Roostats with BAT , in order to use BAT as an alternative to MCMC in RooStats for Bayesian credible intervals estimation.
