Bad allocs from large input samples and different compression settings of in- and output

Hi all,

After picking up the current nightlies with the fix to ROOT-9892 I tested the scenario of running the large input sample and changing compression settings. There I always got RSlotStack errors, which are now fixed. As mentioned in my initial post, setting the compression algorithm and level to the one of the input file reduces the memory consumption from a peak value of 13 to 5 GB. This resolves the bad alloc part for me as well.
